The size of the container my Body Butter product came in was reduced from the original size, and the price was increased.
A shameful marketing trick, reflecting what I always thought to be and honest business. Very disappointed.
Hello Ms Lois! Thank you for your recent order and thank you for your patronage and support for 6yrs+! I read your review and am so sorry you were disappointed with your most recent purchase. If I understand you correctly, you feel the Lavender Vanilla Body Butter that you enjoy and have so regularly purchased for several years was not a good value this latest purchase, the price went up and the package size went down. I did a little checking into your order history and think I understand part of the problem. You ordered the small 4oz jar of body butter this time but have always before ordered the larger sizes (8oz most recently and 6 oz usually). Last year the 6oz jar we use was discontinued and we replaced it with a 4oz size jar for customers who don’t want to carry a large jar or just want to try a smaller size at first. The 4oz is a lower cost but the 8oz is a better value (per oz). You have almost always used a coupon in the past which makes the price even lower, especially on the 8oz. One of your most recent purchases was during our Black Friday promotion and for a very limited time the discount was 40% off making the 6oz jar far less than the regular price of the 4oz jar you purchased this time.
Again, unfortunately the 6oz jar and lid was discontinued by manufacture so we had to change something. So it seems you normally ordered the 6 or 8 oz jar, always used a coupon, which made your purchase a better value than this time ordering a small 4oz and no coupon. You are correct in that all of our prices have come up slightly (5-10%) since 2020 when you first purchased our product. Like most of the world, and especially with small businesses, our cost of ingredients have almost doubled across the board, but that is the world we live in for now.
So, long story above short answer now. We are sorry you feel like the product was not a good value this time. I think of you had ordered the 8oz size and used a coupon it would have been within a few dollars of the last price. We appreciate your faithful business and if you still enjoy our “made in Louisiana by us” all natural body butter let me see if I can fix the value part for you as well. I’ll send you another 4oz jar at no cost and this will make it even a better deal than the “BlackFriday” coupon. And in the future if you don’t have a current coupon just email me or my wife directly before you place your order and we will get you a good one, not only for the Body Butter but for anything else you might want to try. Good and loyal customers like you are worth going the extra mile for if I can. I hope this gives you a better impression of our small family business.

Three generations use all your products. We all love everything. It is the consensus of all your lip balms are great. We all love the flavors and how the lip balms feel on our lips.
Love the skeeter block, it feels good on the skin and keeps those pesky bugs away. My grandchildren have eczema and this bug spray does not irritate their skin. Highly recommend it. Love the small size to put in your purse when you all of a sudden find yourself in the midst of a bug infested outdoor space!
The Body Butter(Citrus Sandalwood) has a hint of smell & I use it on my feet mainly after I shower & I love how it keeps them moisturized!
