Syrup, Lavender Ginger Peach

Lavender was historically used to spice the food of queens, colonists and conquerors. Lavender was then bought from Europe to the Americas, where it was grown as a herb of hospitality, medicine, perfume and spice.  We use fresh culinary lavender flowers with ginger & peach as the perfect flavoring for sorbets, shortbreads, champagne cocktails, hot teas or sparkling water.

Refrigerate after opening

Ingredients: Pure cane sugar, water, natural lavender flavor, ginger & peach, citric acid, fd&c red, blue #1.

Lavender Lemonade - Fill 16oz glass with ice.  Add 1/2 to 1oz of lavender syrup, top with lemonade and stir.  Garnish with a fresh lemon wedge and a fresh stem of lavender.

Fresh Fruit Salad with Lavender - Prepare 1 pint of fresh fruit of your choice, strawberries and blueberries are excellent.  In a small bowl, mix 1/4 cup of lavender syrup and 2 tsp of lemon juice.  Pour mixture over fruit and stir to coat.  For an added treat, pour the mixture over pound cake or cheesecake.  YUMMY!
